Product Description: Like button mushrooms with a tan, brown mushrooms are slightly denser and hardier (and have a milder but earthier flavor) than the common button mushrooms most often seen in stores. They can substitute for buttons anywhere. They're particularly good sautéed, since their lower water content means they brown beautifully.
